There are many cars which are fast and also very few to choose from, because they are limited and expensive. It depends entirely on how you view a car with speed. The best fast cars are not that many either.

This Swedish built Koenigsegg CCX is just another vehicle to add to the list. It has also been added to the list because it has the capacity to reach a top speed of 250 mph (400 km/h). For the speed this vehicle can do, it needed a rear spoiler which they did add after the fact. It just became too difficult to control at its top speed. The spoiler did improve the aerodynamics. It does not, however, take away the dynamics of this super car. She is, as with the rest, a super gas guzzler as well.
The combination of lack of styling (good looks) and lack of uniqueness could outstrip the idea that your car is the fastest in the world. If you own a SSC Ultimate Aero TT you will know that, because you can reach a top speed of 270 mph. At 257 mph can still be the fastest in the world and you will probably not mind if it not too stylish.
